Huge campsite in a haven of peace, in Azay-le-Rideau, wooded and equipped, ideal for cyclists.

What a pleasure to stay in the historic village of Azay-le-Rideau! This stopover is all the more pleasant as the municipal campsite offers nomadic holidaymakers a real haven of peace. Located on the banks of the Indre river, the campsite is huge, very wooded and fully equipped (sanitary facilities, service area for motorhomes, table tennis, swimming pool and free access to tennis). From here, you are 500 m from the town centre and 3 minutes walk from the castle. Notice to cyclists who take the Loire à Vélo route, but also to all those who love Touraine and camping!

3 days and 2 nights spent with the municipal camping in April 2011 following the marathon Azay le Rideau (stay offered at number), a real good moment, the staff are welcoming and helpful, camping by Indre is quiet and clean with an electric terminal 2 locations and what drain grey water and toilet chimisues camping because. Showers heated even if the weather were more than mild. The rather large locations on the grass undoubtedly go back we there as tour marathon is extraordinary, difficult but exceptional in thermal bath landscapes.
