Gilles Piot is a cutler. You will find his workshop in the main street of Candes-Saint-Martin. His knives are unique pieces made from the drawing to the finishing. Some pieces are waiting for you in the store but most of his customers order a custom-made knife. One chooses the type of handle, from maple to ebony, even bone or horn, the material of the blade, from monocarbon steel to the most precious damask, the shape, the ergonomics... Kitchen or folding, galley or chef's, meat or bird's beak, Japanese or Inuit: fascinating!
