At the edge of Chinon, on the Tours - Les Sables-d'Olonne line, this station was inaugurated in 1887. The old line that used to connect Richelieu has been transformed into a greenway. Leaving Chinon station, the train crosses the Vienne river by a viaduct in the direction of Les Sables-d'Olonne. In this station, you will find an automatic ticket office (blue) for the purchase of your regional transport tickets of the TER Rémi network. This one does not allow to withdraw the tickets reserved on Internet, in particular those of TGV. Vending machine for drinks and sweets. Large parking lot.
