Hotel with rooms with its own balcony overlooking the castle in the heart of the medieval district of old Chinon
Right in the center of town, on Chinon's main square, Best Western Hôtel de France occupies a charming 16th-century building. The premises combine comfort, warmth and tradition. Rooms are comfortable and some offer a view of the Royal Fortress. The breakfast room is pleasant, and the rooftop bar is incredible. Quality welcome and service, this is a great address!

All rooms are above the ground floor but there's no elevator. Rooms are a bit small.
They didn't accept credit cards, at least for small charges.
Nous avons choisi cet hôtel de centre ville où nous avons séjourné 2 nuits comme étape sur notre circuit touristique
Absence d'eau chaude en soirée les 2 nuits :
Il a fallu mobiliser le veilleur de nuit !
Malgre le double vitrage, impossible de fermer l'oeil avant minuit à cause des orchestres sous nos fenêtres et impossible de dormir après 6h le matin à cause des cafetiers du rez de chaussée qui traînent leurs tables en métal sur les pavés pour installer leur terrasse!

Absence d'ascenseur /
Bien pourvun nuit en déplacement prof mais pas pour des vacances !
