In the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Nature Park, Chinon is renowned for its fortress, its winegrowers and... its horse races, the highlight of the summer entertainment since 1903! To follow the races, treat yourself to a visit to the racecourse, a very well maintained site with shaded areas. Capacity of 2,500 people, with a covered grandstand of 600 places, 400 of which are seated. Always spectacular! The racing season takes place in July and August.
