Located in front of a pretty square decorated with a fountain, this bakery-pastry shop is famous for a local specialty that cannot be ignored when visiting Chinon: the tarte vigneronne, a flaky apple cake with Chinon wine jelly. It also won the gold medal for the best nougat in Tours. People also come here for its traditional and special breads, as well as for its other sweets such as macaroons, various religieuses and other appetizing chocolates. Home-made ice creams are proposed in summer. A no-fault restaurant!
