RENÉ BOYLESVE GARDEN
A public garden in the former grounds of a fortified château, where you can enjoy species rare to Descartes.
The public garden René Boylesve is located in the former enclosure of a fortified castle built around 987. Some remains of this building remain. During the stroll which extends over the 5,000m2 of garden, you can get drunk on rare species (sequoia, ginkgo, kaki...), some of which were planted in the 11th century. At the level of the old moat, discover the rose garden whose old varieties will enchant you: roses, moschatas, gallicas and sparkling roses cohabit with generosas and hybrid teas, in a space of relaxation not to be missed.
