Le Petit-Pressigny is a charming village located in the middle of greenery, bordered by woods and agricultural fields. We must not ignore this place, although small but so calm and peaceful. At the last census published in 2012, there were 329 small Pressignois in an area of 32 km2. To discover, the church of Saint-Pierre, whose oldest parts, choir and apse, are from the 12th century, the fountain-lavoir, the castle of Bordes, at the exit towards Charnizay, the medieval castle of Ré, on the road to Grand-Pressigny and the priory of Sainte-Ragoude from the 13th and 15th centuries. Nearby, megaliths in Charnizay, notably the Gargantua puck and the Merovingian necropolis of the 6th and 7th centuries. The municipality also has a Merovingian necropolis. The Polissoir des Bordes, known as the "Pierre Rirette" or "Pierre du Diable ", was transported in 1954 to the Château du Grand-Pressigny. Come and discover this place full of mystery!
