CHATEAU DU PLESSIS
Château du Plessis with ruins including one of the original wings, alive with plays, exhibitions and concerts.
Louis XI made it his home and died there in 1483. His successors made frequent visits there. Today, only one of the original wings of the castle of Plessis-lès-Tours remains. But today the place is alive, thanks to the Cano Lopez company, which has kept it alive for several years with plays, exhibitions and concerts. Keeping the Plessis open has meant several battles that have led to the conception of this third place where the arts and the public mix, to bring culture to life in this historic place.
