Restaurant where the chef never ceases to marry tradition and modernity in the village of Petit-Pressigny.

An hour's drive from Tours for a great pleasure. Jacky Dallais has made Petit-Pressigny one of the most popular villages for "gastronomades". Always on the go, he never stops combining tradition and modernity with his son Fabrice. The products are cooked just right, the flavours and textures are well combined, and the plate is beautifully pure... A speciality to discover: pike in a potato crust and crayfish butter or Racan's chicken and for dessert the famous Paris-Brest revisited. Tasty!

Nous venues chercher l'étoile mais on a trouvé un poil dans l’assiette
Étant végétarienne, j’ai pu commander une assiette de légumes. Quelle fût ma surprise de trouver un cheveu au lieu d’une étoile dans mon assiette, je l’ai de suite signalé à la serveuse qui n’a même pas dénié s’excuser. Au moment de régler j’ai rappelé à la responsable que je n’avais pas pu finir mon assiette car il y avait un cheveu dans ma purée, voilà ce que l’on m’ répondu : “écoutez madame, ce n’est pas pour un cheveu que je vais vous faire un geste, surtout avec ce que vous avez mangé ...”. Avec une assiette de légumes à une cinquantaine d’euros, je ne m’attendais pas du tout à autant de mépris !
J’ai donc payer mon repas plein tarif pour une assiette que je n’ai pas pu finir... dommage pour un restaurant étoilé. Mes amies et moi même ne retournerons pas dans ce lieu.

Our visit revealed a chef and creativity. Tasting menu with 85 each was delicious. Our selection of wines it was exciting. We stayed in guesthouse, the castle That Guenand. Therefore, an experience very relaxing and gastronomy. Wonderful!

A restaurant, a real with a stove, creative cuisine and delicious. The unpretentious in a peaceful atmosphere and friendly service. 2 Le Promenade aperitif, wine and coffee... a bit more than €130. In short, I go back here with pleasure.
