L'auberge de l'Île is one of the region's leading gourmet restaurants. Geneviève and Pierre Koniecko have been members of Touraine Gourmande for 30 years, and are passionate about sharing their passion for cooking. The chef works exclusively with local and seasonal produce to concoct modern dishes, accompanied by a superb wine list. The inn's elegant dining room, situated on an island in the Vienne river, allows guests to enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the river on fine days.

C'était le restaurant surprise de notre voyage.
Le meilleur dessert au chocolat - plusieurs préparations, onctueuses et non amères.
L'apéritif de rein / foie / pain sucré a été parfaitement exécuté - pas facile.
Pieds de porc très lisses avec croûte de pain, bon goût de porc.
Belle vue sur la rivière avec terrasse.
Mieux que la plupart des restaurants étoilés Michelin où nous avons mangé.
