A former 15th century coaching inn where George Sand used to change carriages to go to Paris, the George has just been given a makeover! Emblematic hotel-restaurant of the city, it was on the verge of bankruptcy before being taken over last year by a lover of the site. The result, after 7 months of work, is authenticity combined with the comfort of modernity. Its terrace overlooking the river is worth the detour! In the restaurant, bistronomic cuisine with fresh products and a brunch organized every first Sunday of the month.

C est rare quand nous mettons un avis négatif, mais il est important pour les futurs clients. Ns avions une chambre sous les toits, nous avons très mal dormi, nous avons eut très chaud, ns avons tenté d ouvrir la fenêtre ( la ventilation du restaurant fait un bruit qui raisonne bcp la nuit), nous avons tenté de mettre le ventilateur, même à la position 1il fait beaucoup trop de bruit et souffre trop fort. Nous déconseillons fortement ( au moins cette chambre espérons que les autres sont plus confortables)
Nous l avons signalé à la réception qui avait l air d en avoir rien à faire. Bien dommage. Nous déconseillons fortement. Assurez vous de ne pas prendre une chambre sous les toits

Très bel hôtel plein de charme! Service irréprochable agréable, personnel souriant et professionnel. Restaurant déjeuner et petit déjeuner avec des produits de bonne qualité. Chambres agréables et literie confortable. Seul petit bémol pas de climatisation dans les chambres ( week end très chaud à 35 degrés) merci à toute l’équipe pour ce week-end de noces. Préciser aux clients que l ascenseur est disponible car l’escalier est sportif avec les bagages!!
