The Lansyer house is the family home of the painter Emmanuel Lansyer (1835-1893). He was a student of Courbet. Discover the man but also the artist, considered as one of the best landscape painters, with more than 1 500 paintings. A hundred of them are on display, including an exceptional collection of Japanese art, original engravings by Piranesi, Canaletto, Gustave Doré, Millet, Hugo and Corot, and sketches by Delacroix. In 2021, the museum will be enriched with a room dedicated to families. A playful space to discover while having fun!
