LODGE STATE FOREST
This forest is ideal for walking, horseback riding, cycling and off-road scootering.
This former royal forest of 3,600 ha has preserved the facilities and infrastructures of the 18th and 19th centuries with its forest paths and star-shaped crossroads. It is mainly composed of sessile oak which is used in the making of barrels. It is the ideal place for walks, horseback riding, cycling or even all-terrain electric scooters. The forest provided thirty oak trees in 2021 to be used for the reconstruction of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.
