Jacky Blot was a well-known figure in Montlouis-sur-Loire and beyond. He was one of the first to produce organic, hand-harvested, barrel-aged wines. These techniques are in full expansion today, but at the time they were still unconventional in the Loire Valley. In Vouvray, Bourgueil and Montlouis, he now cultivates 45 hectares of old vines for sparkling, dry, semi-dry, sweet and syrupy wines. Since 2023, his son Jean-Philippe has been at the helm.
