Open to the public since 1974, Candé is one of the most prestigious estates in the Indre valley, with a vast, undulating park and plunging river views. The château is packed with rooms decorated in the style of centuries gone by (dining room, grand salon, music room...), taking us back to the daily lives of the former inhabitants. Petit château et grand parc: le château est assez peu meublé. Tout est sujet à la venue des Windsor. Nous avons été déçu bien que l'accueil fût convivial. Le parc est agréable par beau temps.

profitant des journées du patrimoine, nous avons visité le domaine de candé. malheureusement pas le parc car la pluie était de la partie. les pièces du château sont meublées style années 30/40 ; les salles de bain art déco sont superbes. lors de ce week end c'était l'expo sur la mode, belles robes et costumes étaient exposées dans les pièces. dans la bibliothèque un orgue u 3 étages décore la pièce. le domaine de candé est à voir.

Le domaine est magnifique. Il y a de belles balades à faire. Par contre, le "château" est en fait une belle demeure du 19e siècle, il n'y a pas grand chose à voir à l’intérieur. Les jardins sont très beaux. J'ai fait une visite libre, une visite guidée serait plus à conseiller.
