This superb troglodyte restaurant, located about ten minutes from Amboise towards Chaumont, offers simple cuisine with quality products in an atypical setting. Everyone is there, whether for small faims: molo-melo, salad François I salad, candied tomatoes, magret and sweet smoked "by our care", rillings of Saint-Ouen roasted on toasts, grated carrots and vinaigrette to grape must or the Poisquaille, a cobbled salmon Mock, roast in the oven, accompanied by a cream cream. For the biggest appetites: the barouillette of Saint-Ouen made hand by Olivier, the butcher of Saint-Ouen, or the intern of beef to the weight (up to 500 g!). Also note the unavoidable 100% baked skewers at the fireplace. Dessert, black chocolate mousse (house please!) or floating island. Here we measure the child: its size will depend on the price! Local wines, local cuisine (even the map is in the form of a small local newspaper). The staff were very helpful and helpful. The lunch menu is ideal, fast, with choice and quality dishes. A safe value.
