LE GRAND COTEAU
House of composer Francis Poulenc, offering tours to discover the melodist's creative process and his music.
You are here simply in the house of Francis Poulenc. The composer bought it in 1927 to get away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. A haven of peace that he also built for himself, by designing the French terraced garden that accompanies this 16th century building. Thanks to the guided tour of about 45 minutes, dive into the creative process of the melodist with his music room and pianos. A place rich in music, stories and anecdotes, which has seen Francis Poulenc's contemporaries, from Colette to Jean Cocteau.
