IN REUGNY: A GOURMET RESTAURANT IN AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING
The Château Louise de La Vallière in Reugny, not far from the royal town of Amboise, is home to one of Indre-et-Loire's most extraordinary gourmet restaurants.
Inspired by the pomp and pageantry of the 17th and 18th centuries, the Amphitryon's décor creates an enchanting atmosphere, whether by candlelight in the evening or in a veritable bath of light during the day. Internationally renowned designer Jacques Garcia has lent his prestigious signature to the venue. L'Amphitryon can accommodate up to 35 covers for a sit-down meal and 45 for a cocktail.
In fine weather, the Belvédère adjacent to the restaurant welcomes you for a sunny lunch or cocktail. With its breathtaking views over the gardens and the Brenne valley, it's the ideal setting for a delightful moment in fine weather. This unrivalled space can accommodate up to 20 covers for a sit-down meal and 80 people for a cocktail party.

From amuse-bouches to the finest desserts, dine in our gastronomic restaurant as if you were at the table of the King of France. This brilliant, refined cuisine features roasts of meat, poultry and fish, period vegetables and the most delicate desserts. The menu naturally evolves with the seasons.
L'Amphitryon's chef reinterprets this culinary heritage by combining the "service à la française" practiced during the king's "Grand couvert", in which several dishes are served simultaneously on the table in an impressive display of delicacies, with the more modern "service à la russe", where dishes are brought to the plate.
From breakfast to Sunday brunch and tea time, you'll enjoy the pleasure of gourmet, festive cuisine all day long.

The rooms are gorgeous with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Lovely grounds to walk around and it’s generally just a beautiful area.
Amazing service from everyone who worked there. We had a warm welcome open arrival with champagne sat by the fire. Then again at dinner they were very attentive and knowledgeable.
We were lucky to go in the off season so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The only slight criticism I have is having an additional charge of 100 to bring your dog. Which I personally think is too high.

I would like to point out that the charges for pets are due to the room being blocked the next day in order to completely clean the wall fabrics and furnishings, so as not to penalise guests with allergies.

Det ligger i et vakkert område, nær mange historiske attraksjoner og aktiviteter. Rommet var romslig, rent og komfortabelt, med alle fasiliteter vi trengte.
Personalet var vennlig, hjelpsom og profesjonell. Maten var deilig og variert, og atmosfæren var super elegant. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet til alle som leter etter et luksuriøst og minneverdig opphold. Det er perfekt for bryllup og firmaturer. Jeg vil definitivt komme tilbake dit igjen, ja.
Ayant travaillé quelques temps au château, j ai ressenti le même émerveillement aujourd’hui en arrivant dans ce lieu merveilleux.
