Museum presenting a beautiful collection of paintings, sculptures and various objects retracing the history of Richelieu.

This little-known museum brings together a multitude of objects from the château or that once belonged to Cardinal de Richelieu. Portraits, crockery, earthenware - all traces of the past that tell the story of the town. One of the most important collections of paintings and sculptures is on display here, with sculpted busts and portraits of Richelieu. A 3D film takes you on a virtual tour of the château. Conferences are also held from time to time. You can also take a stroll in the château's wooded grounds.

Petit musée très instructif sur l'origine de la ville de Richelieu et le culte de la personnalité du cardinal. On y redécouvre aussi son attrait pour les arts.
4 pièces à voir. Comptez une bonne heure de visite.
Prix vraiment symbolique.
Il y a un autre espace Richelieu que l'on peut visiter également (pas encore vu) un peu plus loin dans la Grande Rue. Un ticket combiné existe.

Une volonté de la ville de valoriser le nom de Richelieu et l’héritage du nom de cet homme célèbre. Un soin particulier pour intéresser le public grâce à la maquette élaborée et qui permet de situer les vestiges et les espaces de la ville. Le prix d’entrée est modeste.

Gelegen op de bovenetage van het gemeentehuis van Richelieu. Voor de fijnproever die geïnteresseerd is in kardinaal Richelieu. Zijn gallerie des batailles van 20 schilderijen die verspreid geraakt zijn is nagebootst met zes schilderijen op ware grootte. Ook vind je er het origineel van het testament van Richelieu. Een dikke pluim voor de medewerkster van het gemeentehuis die voor ons de deur heeft open gemaakt.
