Saint-Avertin is a nice little town where it's nice to stroll and also to eat. For a pleasant gourmet break, it is recommended to go to Au 19, a family-run restaurant that offers traditional cuisine based on good fresh seasonal produce. The setting is quite charming, with warm colours and modern furniture. In the dining room, father and son take care of you, here you are the king. Among the dishes, a duck breast with saté, polenta with chestnut or a cod steak in a bread crust, cream of lemon confit. The wines come from multiple regions and the desserts are finely presented. 100% recommended!
