LPO CENTRE-VAL DE LOIRE

A true guardian of regional biodiversity, the LPO Centre-Val de Loire works tirelessly to protect birds, bats and natural environments. With its 3,000 members and 260 volunteers, this naturalist association governed by the 1901 law of general interest carries out concrete actions: installation of nesting boxes, monitoring of protected species, preservation of natural areas... Its team of 11 salaried employees, supported by volunteers, also raises public awareness of the richness of the local heritage. It is a player driven by a passion to pass on and protect the wonders of nature in the Centre region, for present and future generations.
