Très bon accueil. Chambre propre bien agencée avec accès à une petite terrasse privée. Petit-déjeuners copieux, pains et croissants frais. En bonus, un réfrigérateur-congélateur en libre service, très pratique pour maintenir les aliments personnels au frais et congeler les blocs rafraîchissants. Les clients peuvent se servir des verres d'eau fraîche aux bouteilles en libre-service pour se désaltérer et également goûter avec modération aux bons vins de production locale, proposés à la vente à l'hôtel.
L'hôtel est situé à une rue d'un excellent restaurant gastronomique "le pigeonnier".
La situation de l'hôtel est idéale pour visiter Amboise, Chenonceau, une baignade publique dans le Cher à Bléré, une sortie en canoë sur la Loire, par exemple.
