The cuisine is gourmet, based on fresh local produce: foie gras, blanquette de lotte safranée, filet de boeuf au chinon, beuchelle tourangelle... And for a cultural touch, cocktail lectures on history, literature or cinema. If you're lucky, you might even bump into actress Macha Méril, the inn's godmother!
