Le Clos du Vigneau is a family winery located on the municipality of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil in the same distance from Chinon and Saumur, 45 km west of Tours. Access is direct by the D 35. There, soils are essentially made of sand and pebbles commonly called "gravel", these types of terrain warm very fast and give soft, light and fruity wines. The latest vintages in the Loire Valley have been very successful. We have had very open, harmonious wines with little acidity as usual. Raspberry, ripe and cassis blend gently with flexibility and silky tannins. To discover "the cuvée of the ladies of bygone times".
