CHRISTOPHE CHASLE ET HERVE MENARD
Christophe Chasle revived the vineyard of Saint-Patrice some years ago. This dynamic wine vigneron makes each of its three plots, that on the gravel of the Gravois producing a beautifully fruity wine, while that of Rochecot, from the clay-clay hillside, gives a more tannic Cabernet, solid structure and good guard. To visit, the small Gallo-Roman museum around the finest pieces of the necropolis istrian excavations conducted in 1969 below the nearby Roman route. He discovered pottery offering vases and amphorae, one of which was used for the wine service. Sign of true civilization! Christophe also receives visitors in his cave cellar… a detour is required.
