JEAN-MAURICE RAFFAULT
Here is an estate that can pride itself on being part of the Chinon heritage. Since the first vines were acquired in 1693, no less than 14 generations have succeeded each other at the head of the vineyard. Since 2009, Rodolphe Raffault has taken over the reins of this 50-hectare estate and has begun his conversion to organic farming. He produces red, white and rosé Chinon, matured in oak barrels in 3 typical troglodytic cellars. It is possible to visit the Cave Monplaisir de Chinon, which is open to the public and where you will find the wines of the domain.
