NUITS ASTRONOMIQUES DE TOURAINE
Located about 25 km south-east of Tours, the Tauxigny Observatory is the ideal setting for the organization of the Astronomical Nights of Touraine, the NAT. Each year there are many knowledgeable and beginner enthusiasts who come to enjoy the telescopes in the public arena. These astronomical meetings are not only focused on observation, but also on knowledge through conferences, presentations, and various workshops. The interest of the NATS is to come to the family, spend a few nights under the tent and under a high celestial vault, in the immediate vicinity of the observatory, without preponderant light pollution. There are facilities on site (catering, WC, etc.).
