In a superb 19th century building designed by Victor Laloux, the Tours train station offers many services: ticket offices, ticket machine, press, snacks, Avis rental agency, not to mention the self-service piano. TER-Rémi trains to join the cities of the Centre region, TGV... At the exit you will find cabs, the tramway and about ten bus lines, without forgetting the bus station and its Rémi coaches. You can also get to Tours from the Saint-Pierre-des-Corps train station, 5 minutes away by SNCF shuttle, bus or cab.

La gare de Tours est très belle et bien aménagée. Avec seulement quelques quais, il est facile de rapidement se repérer et il n'y a pas de plateformes ou de souterrains à monter/descendre. Une navette fait régulièrement la liaison entre St Pierre des Corps et Tours afin de rattraper les grandes lignes de TGV.
Gare très bien desservie par les transports en commun : tram et bus transitent presque tous par la gare.
Attention : en hivers l'endroit est très très venteux et contrairement à beaucoup de gares, il n'y a qu'un minuscule espace fermé pour les personnes qui attendent leurs trains. Toilettes payants.
