Feeling a little hungry after a screening at the CGR Centre cinemas? Zen is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Tours, which explains the rather high prices. The chef, trained in his native country, always strives to work with fresh, quality produce. The decor is refined and soothing; the tableware and sushi platters are delightful. Sushi, sashimi, maki, as well as bento, donburi and grilled meats are all part of the show put on by the open-plan kitchen. As an added bonus, the team is adorable, considerate and respectful.

La carte ne propose pas de menu végétarien, mais le chef à proposé de faire des makis au concombre, avocat et omelette spécialement pour mon amie, en plus d'une petite entrée salade. Tout était excellent, et j'ai adoré le chirashi saumon.
Les prix sont conséquents, mais au vu de la qualité des produits cela les vaut amplement.
