A place with a bamboo terrace, a cuisine made with French products in Tours.

We love MAO for its unique atmosphere, its cuisine and its decor. The place is all about Zen, with wood, Asian statues and subdued lighting. Not to mention the incredible plant wall upstairs and the bamboo terrace. The cuisine is made with French products, but perfectly blends Thai and French flavors, for the tastiest of results: an assortment of nems, fillet of pollack in teriyaki sauce, fillet of Angus beef a la plancha with shimeji mushrooms... Varied, copious, never disappointing.

C'est cher mais la carte y est assez originale par rapport aux autres restaurants asiatiques et les plats sont bons. Les serveurs sont aimables et le cadre est élégant et propre.

Après une malheureuse expérience (attente démesurée entre les plats), j'ai retenté le MAO plusieurs fois à midi ave cla formule plateau repas, donc tout sur le plateau dès le départ = pas d'attente! Très bien, même si ça reste cher pour le repas. Mais il y a la belle déco et l'ambiance, sympa.

L'un de mes restaurants préférés sur Tours !
Un mélange de cuisine française et thaïlandaise, souvent revisitée. Service gastronomique, nourriture de qualité, pas beaucoup d'attente entre les plats, un décor somptueux à l'étage !
Il est vivement recommandé de réserver !

Excellent menu, de la cuisine de très bonne qualité. On aimerait y retourner plus souvent, mais la carte ne se renouvelle pas assez. Ce restaurant peut être très bruyant, préférer le second étage pour plus de tranquillité.
