Here is a mastodon of the literary world in Touraine. Created in 1946, having moved several times before settling in Rue Nationale, the Boîte à Livres welcomes readers on its three levels which are full of good books. An outstanding general bookstore, it competes with the big chains in its category. Novels, essays, travel, comics, university textbooks, children's books (and even some toys)... You can find everything! And if you don't find the rare pearl, the booksellers are there to advise you or place an order. The fans of literature will take advantage with happiness of the meetings of authors, and for a greedy pause one stops at the tea room.

Très bonne librairie, beaucoup moins peuplée que la Fnac, sauf en période de Noël !
Les vendeurs sont assez disponibles et le choix est très important.
Sa situation, rue Nationale, est très pratique.
Elle organise souvent des rencontres littéraires avec des écrivains, point fort !

Une belle librairie, qui plus est, bien fournie et idéalement située. Quel dommage en revanche d'y recevoir un accueil si froid. Pas un bonjour à l'entrée même quand il n'y a pas foule... À la FNAC le vigile nous retourne au moins un sourire !!

La boîte à livres est bien située au centre de Tours, rue nationale à proximité de la loire. Le magasin est vraiment très grands avec plusieurs niveaux, on retrouve de tout, des livres pour étudier, des BD, mangas, des romans et des guides aussi. Le choix est donc vaste et si vous ne savez pas quoi prendre, vous pouvez être conseillé par un vendeur ou une vendeuse qui sont là pour vous aider.
