PISCINE DU MORTIER

Renovated and reopened to the public in 2010, this swimming pool is no longer just a neighborhood pool. Its contemporary architecture, combining wood and glass, makes it a modern addition to the urban fabric of the new Tours Nord neighborhoods, and inside, swimmers of all levels and ages will find what they're looking for. The 25-metre pool has four lanes, and a fun trail welcomes swimmers with a slow-moving river, massaging water jets and a small waterfall. Access for the disabled is possible, and the two pools are interconnected. A good place to take a dip north of the city center, especially as, like all municipal pools, this one regularly offers themed activities (baby swimmers, aquagym...).
