Abbey created by Saint Martin of Tours in the 4th century, a place of local history in Tours, with various animations on site.

Monastery, military hospital, educational establishment... The site of Marmoutier has had several lives since its creation by Saint Martin of Tours in the 4th century. In its heyday, the estate covered 17 hectares on the river. Archaeological excavations continue to reveal the past of this place of local history. The tourist office offers guided tours of the ruins and the site throughout the year. And in summer, there is an escape game and various animations. And in addition to its historical interest, the visit of the place offers beautiful views on the city and the Loire.
