A green space in the middle of the beautiful Loire River, the historical birthplace of the Aucard de Tours festival, a good place to rest.

History tells us that the place owes its name to the butcher breeder Louis Aucard who used to graze his animals there in the 17th century. Today, it is more like tourange sportsmen and women who can be found there! On the sports fields, people come to play football, basketball or volleyball. It is generally easy to form a team with the athletes present on site to stretch their legs a little. Historical cradle of the Aucard de Tours festival (moved to the Gloriette), the park also hosts occasional cultural events (electro afternoons, festivals...). On this green space which takes place in the middle of the beautiful Loire, it is also pleasant to settle down and do nothing.
