A pedestrian square with benches surrounded by greenery, bar and restaurants with terraces, a great place to stop off in Tours.

The Place Châteauneuf looks great! Entirely pedestrianized in 2017, it now allows you to take a break on one of the benches surrounded by greenery, or sit on one of the terraces of bars and restaurants. The Beaune-Semblançay fountain should soon join the square. But you can already enjoy an incredible view of the Charlemagne Tower, the Clock Tower and the dome of the Saint-Martin Basilica. One of the most beautiful places in Tours, perfect for a stopover during your visit of the old town!
