Probably the biggest market in Touraine! On Thursdays there are a little less merchants and a reasonable number of people, but on Sundays it's a different matter: hundreds of onlookers and local residents come to do their food shopping there. There are also some clothes and various objects. It is not uncommon to see a street musician settling here. A cheerful mix of people. Going to the Velpeau market on Sunday mornings, alone or with the family, is a must in the life of Touraine.
