A small museum in Yzeures-sur-Creuse presenting carved stone blocks, with excavation results and remains.
There is no excuse not to go to this fabulous little unknown (until now for you) museum. First because it's free, then because Yzeures-sur-Creuse is a beautiful little village. In the foundations of the village church, 80 blocks of stone were discovered, carved from the beginning of our era, with effigies of Jupiter, Minerva, Leda... Probably a temple or a votive pillar. This museum gathers the results of these excavations and vestiges. You will be able to see different reconstructions and many mysteries still unsolved!
