NOTRE DAME CHURCH
This church features a magnificent porch under a 3-arch gallery.
A magnificent porch under a 3-arched gallery is located on the lower level of the west façade of this church, built from 1124 onwards. It is listed as a historic monument. The paintings in the nave belonged to the Duke of Antin. Of particular interest is the replica of Saint Martine, signed by Pierre de Cortone, the original of which is in the Louvre. The Duke of Antin had it copied in a version adapted to the history of Bellegarde: the Virgin and Child Jesus are accompanied by Saint Solange, patron saint of the nearby Berry region.
