The Charles Desvergnes Museum showcases sculptural models of classical and academic statuary.
With, among others, his Blessed Joan of Arc, created in 1909 on the occasion of the beatification of the valiant of Orléans, Charles Desvergnes (1860-1926),1st Grand Prix of Rome in 1899, a classical and academic statuary, was then forgotten until 2000 when the town hall of Bellegarde, his birthplace, decided to dedicate to him in the Pavillon d'Antin a museum composed of more than a hundred of his sculptural models, listed as historical monuments.
