COOPERAGE MUSEUM
Museum in a winegrower's farmhouse from the end of the 19th century in Chécy to discover the daily life of the winegrowers of the past.
Set in the heart of the village, in a typical Vigneronne farmhouse of the late th century, this museum gives you the daily life of the wine growers of the past. The living room of the house has been reconstituted, while the garden recalls the culinary and medicinal use of aromatic plants. The beautiful collection of old tools allows you to see the evolution of the cooperage through the manufacture, use and maintenance of the barrels, not forgetting the preservation and marketing of wine. Temporary exhibitions and animations for small and large are complete.
