NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION CENTRE (NPC)

Located 60 km south-east of Orléans, this nuclear centre, which produces 7 times the amount of water consumed by the Loiret, also carries out permanent monitoring of water, milk, fauna, flora and air. You can visit the plant by making an appointment by phone. The guided tour is free and takes place at 3pm. This is an opportunity to find out more or to discover what the issues are, not only energy-related but also environmental, thanks to a knowledgeable guide-lecturer. A way, perhaps, of no longer being resistant to the nuclear world.
