JAMBO-GOLF IN
Donnery is home to the Golf d'Orléans-Donnery, a historic golf course created in 1952 by the American military based in Orléans. The course offers a variety of landscapes, with a forested first half and a more open second half. The first nine holes were designed by a colonel of the NATO forces, while the last nine were added some twenty years ago by Olivier Van der Vinck. The golf course also offers instruction by Jean-Philippe VARICLIER, a state-qualified teacher. The clubhouse, built by the U.S. Army, still stands and offers a panoramic view of the course. The golf restaurant, L'Impact, offers refined cuisine and can accommodate private events such as weddings and receptions.
