Founded in 1985, on the initiative of the Portuguese vice-consul at the time, Radio Arc-en-Ciel has become an inter-community radio station with the added touch of fado, due to its Portuguese origins. It features local news, music and a varied, colorful programming schedule. World music, pop, jazz, oldies and contemporary hits: there's something for everyone! The programs are open to current events in Orléans and the surrounding area, announcing events to be discovered and welcoming numerous guests. Artists, authors, political or economic figures, the hosts "cook" them up and give them a run for their money!
