Located against the factory founded in 1821, the Musée de la Faïencerie retraces the historical know-how of this activity, one of the town's oldest. The museography includes rare documents and objects, plates and armorial services, as well as monumental pieces that have made, and still make, the reputation of the town of Gien. The decorations are still made by hand, so you can discover the infinitely precise gestures performed by these workers, and soak up the unique shade of Gien blue. Guided tour available.
