Since 1985, Les Restos du Cœur has been helping the most disadvantaged with energy and conviction. They provide free food aid to families in difficulty, distributing balanced meal baskets 1 or 2 times a week at the 13 distribution centers in the Loiret region (in Amilly, Bonny-sur-Loire, Briare, Châlette-sur-Loing, Courtenay, Gien, Lorris, Montargis, Orléans La Source, Pithiviers, Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, Saint-Jean-le-Blanc and Saran), during the winter campaign (from late November to late March), and some are open all year round. In the evenings, Camion du Cœur volunteers serve hot meals and takeaways to the homeless of Orléans.
