THE CHANTAL GARDEN
A member of the Association of Parks and Gardens in the Centre-Val de Loire region, whose membership rings like a label of excellence, this garden declines, on 2 400 m ², 200 varieties of roses and 1000 plants and shrubs, including a collection of 160 viburnums, a type of beautiful flower arbustres. There is the charm of an English, resserré, intimate garden whose collection is thought of so that there is always at least a variety of these shrubs that are in flower for each month of the year. The whole garden returns to the partition played in harmony: April and May - in addition to viburnum spring - see netherlands, alchémilles, ancolies, and geraniums. In June, roses and the collection of perennials and spring shrubs join this concert, together with hémérocalles, phlox and other perennials in July and August. Summer is also the peak period of hydrangéas, with a large collection of paniculées varieties. From the summer, the changing fruiting of the viornes will change harmonies and prepare the warm tones of autumn, a time marked by the flowering of many asters. This garden marks its interest in late blooms: The visit is therefore all indicated in the autumn as well as in the rest of the year.
