MUSEUM OF THE TRADES AND LEGENDS OF THE FOREST
Museum located in Loury, featuring an exhibition of machines and tools used by foresters, and wood-related trades.
The exhibition of machinery and tools used by foresters and wood-related trades (charrons, blacksmiths, carpenters, sabotiers…) reminds the visitor that, for a long time, the territory of the village was conquered on the forest. But the forest is also an area conducive to the birth of myths and legends, fantastic creatures and White Ladies. Come see the legend of Riblet, a character linked to the commune, and tremble at the mention of the wolves. On the floor are temporary exhibitions (not accessible for wheelchair users).
