PARC NATUREL DES COURTILS DES MAUVES
Park with reed bed and impressive natural diversity at the gateway to Sologne, ideal for a stroll.
At the gateway to the Sologne region, this nature park offers an abundance of water, thanks to the Beauce water table... 42 km of irrigation taken care of by the Mauves, a tributary of the Loire, continue to generate naturally wooded gardens. In the 19th century, 38 paddlewheel mills were in operation. 76 species of birds have been recorded here, including the crested kinglet, great spotted woodpecker and garden warbler, all of which enjoy the estate and its reed beds. This diversity is well worth a stroll!
