MONTARGIS CASTLE
Castle full of history, which welcomed Louis VI, Philippe Auguste and Anne de Bretagne, with ramparts and Renaissance gardens.
For over a thousand years, its ramparts have preserved it and its restored Renaissance gardens have been visited in the same way as Louis VI, Philippe Auguste, Anne de Bretagne and the Duc d'Orléans before them. After several owners, the château is now being restored by the Fonds de dotation château royal de Montargis and the Association des Ami(e)s du château de Montargis, who are working to restore the château walls and Renaissance gardens. They are also developing a 3D tour through the different historical periods of the château.
